As discussed on the call, DFO, in consultation with the PEIFA tuna advisory committee, has decided not to issue any more tags for the 2017 tuna fishery for either the Canadian or Mexican quotas.

Fishers who still have a tag to use in 2017 can do so up to and including December 31, 2017.
